Marketing Specialist
Job Description
GoElite, Inc. is on the lookout for a dynamic Marketing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Market Research, or a closely related area, complemented by at least two years of experience in a role that involves market research tasks. Alternatively, we are open to candidates who present a compelling mix of education, training, or experience, which could include a Master's degree in Business, Market Research, or a related field, even if they haven't gained formal expertise yet. This is an onsite position, the ability to commute/relocate is required.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct marketing research
- Browse the forums that are popular among international students to find out international students trending interested in U.S. master's programs
- Research government public data to gather U.S. universities' international students' growth trend and the number of registered students for these programs
- Research competitors' marketing campaigns and analyze the pros and cons and create marketing proposal
- Browse social media platforms to find out about international students' popular topics and unfulfilled needs
Creating marketing campaigns
- Create email marketing content and design posts for the campaign
- Shot and edit marketing videos and post on social medias
- Add visual effects and subtitles to the marketing videos and maintain the YouTube Channel
- Update and maintain the official website; include utilizing the A/B test to improve the performance of landing page and forms
- Communicate with the IT department to implement the official website updates and marketing campaigns
- Update company’s RateMyProfessor website for partner universities, create marketing campaign to encourage current students to write reviews
- Write weekly blogs on designated platforms (1point3acres.com, chasedream.com, and gonglue.us)
Analyzing Marketing campaign effectiveness
- Analyze the official website and blogs on designated platforms’ traffic and generate report
- Analyze the target landing traffic of each marketing campaign
- Analyze the HubSpot email marketing traffic data, including open email rate, button click rate, conversion rate, etc.
- Analyze the pros and cons of competitors' SEO web page
- Analyze the conversion rate of partner universities' information session
Other designated tasks
- Answer students' questions in the Facebook group, WeChat group, and WhatsApp group
- Communicate with partner universities’ admission counselors as guest speakers to host information session for international students
- Prepare, review, and edit slides for guest speakers
- Import students' data to HubSpot regularly
- Customize HubSpot to optimize the workflow of consulting team and marketing team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communication, Business or other related majors
- Have 2+ year of working experience in marketing or communication field
- Ability to take direction and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent time-management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
