Strengthening Recruitment Partnerships in Gujarat: GoElite’s Visit to Ahmedabad & Surat
As part of our ongoing commitment to international enrollment development, the GoElite regional team recently completed a successful visit to Ahmedabad and Surat, two key recruitment hubs in the state of Gujarat, India. Over the course of the trip, our representatives met with local education agents, focusing on deepening relationships with existing partners and introducing them to a carefully selected group of affordable U.S. university programs within our network.

Introducing Affordable, Career-Driven U.S. Programs
The primary objective of the visit was twofold: first, to reinforce trust and alignment with our current agents through in-person meetings, performance discussions, and program updates; and second, to present U.S. institutions that are particularly attractive to students seeking high-quality education with manageable tuition costs. Many of the programs we introduced offer hybrid learning formats, STEM and MBA options, early CPT eligibility, rolling admissions, and tuition rates under $15,000 per year—features that strongly resonated with agents supporting career-focused students.
Key Market Insights: What Agents Are Seeing on the Ground
A common theme that emerged from our conversations was the increasing demand for second master’s programs among Indian students who have already used OPT or are seeking viable pathways to remain in the U.S. long-term. Agents shared that students are highly motivated to find institutions that provide not only work authorization early in the program, but also reliable administrative support throughout the admissions and I-20 issuance process. GoElite’s model—centered around responsive university partners—stood out as a welcome contrast to the delays and uncertainty many agents face with other institutions.
We also gained valuable feedback on the evolving needs of Indian families during the admissions process. Many agents expressed interest in additional tools to support student-parent communication, including localized marketing materials in Hindi or Gujarati and simplified guides that explain hybrid models. These insights will directly shape our upcoming agent support initiatives.

Looking Ahead: Expanding Partnerships and Agent Support
Looking ahead, GoElite plans to onboard several new recruitment partners from this trip, selected based on their alignment with our student-first approach and commitment to ethical advising. We are also preparing to host a virtual training session, designed to help Indian agents more confidently position hybrid professional programs to their student communities.
This visit to Gujarat reaffirmed the importance of localized relationship-building and on-the-ground presence in international markets. We’re grateful to the agents who welcomed us and shared their insights, and we look forward to building on this momentum in the months ahead.
