Software Engineering Intern (Backend Focus)

Location: Remote (PST-friendly hours)

Duration: 5 months, with potential extension

Compensation: $22 - $32 per hour

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain the backend systems and services that connect data, workflows, and applications.
• Design and refine how data is structured, stored, and accessed within databases.
• Support updates and improvements to existing backend systems and data models.
• Experiment with Al-powered tools or APIs to enhance automations and streamline workflows
• Work closely with CRM operations specialists to understand needs and build solutions.

What We're Looking For

• Comfortable writing code and interested in how backend systems enable real functionality and efficient operations.
• Curious about how systems, services, and data connect behind the scenes.
• Thoughtful about turning complex problems into clear, maintainable solutions.

Nice to Haves

• Familiarity with at least one programming language commonly used for backend or automation work (for example JavaScript, Python, or similar).
• Familiarity with databases and basic query languages such as SQL.
• Understanding of how APls connect different systems and share data.
• Understanding of cloud or serverless environments and how they're used to run backend code.
• Familiarity with version control (Git or similar).
