Education Consultant
Job Description
We are looking for a full-time education consultant to help our students with their application process. This is an onsite position, the ability to commute/relocate is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Making initial contact with prospective students and building a rapport
- Accurately assessing and uncovering students' needs and potential
- Provide advice and guidance to students, customize study plans for them
- Reviewing students' application materials
- Work closely with our marketing team to provide the best assistance to international students
- Assist students with their application process and proactively follow up with students to ensure benchmarks, goals, and deadlines are not overlooked or missed
- Build and maintain relationships with admission professionals at our partnered universities and communicate with them on a regular basis on behalf of our students
Qualifications
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Passion for higher education
- 3+ years of sales/customer service experience is preferred
- Strong knowledge of the college admission process or previous admissions experience are big pluses
- Bachelor's or Master's degree from a U.S. university
- Familiar with the Hubspot CRM system is a plus
- Successful candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced learning environment
- Preference for candidates with expertise in international student affairs, particularly with a focus on the Indian student community
