Mike Valverde worked for the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services for 28 years until October 2025.  Most recently, he led the approximately 10,000 federal and contract employees of the Field Operations Directorate, overseeing all greencard, naturalization, and EB5 processing.  Prior to that, he led appeals and employment-based petition processing, refugee operations, and more.
