GoElite is proud to share the success of the 2025 OPT Career and Immigration Conference (OCIC)—a nationwide virtual event held on July 26, 2025. Designed to support international students at a critical juncture in their academic and professional journey, the conference focused on post-graduation internships, employment pathways, and immigration strategies.
OCIC 2025 welcomed over 1,000 attendees from across the US and provided a free, high-impact platform for students to access expert insights, explore career options, and build meaningful connections.

The conference featured distinguished speakers including current and former professionals from leading companies such as Walmart, Google, and Snap, who offered insider perspectives on the evolving job market, career development strategies, and the skills most valued by today’s employers. These sessions equipped attendees with practical insights to help them build actionable career plans during their OPT period.
On the immigration front, attendees heard from a former U.S. visa officer, an award-winning immigration attorney, and representatives from the American Immigration Council. Together, these experts delivered timely and informative sessions covering OPT compliance, H-1B program trends, and alternative immigration pathways. Their guidance helped students gain a clearer understanding of the legal landscape and explore viable options beyond OPT.
