From Boston to Our Desks: GoElite Launches a Company-Wide AI Agent Competition

The AI wave is here, and GoElite is acting on it. We are launching a company-wide AI agent-building competition open to every member of our team, whatever their role or technical background. The goal is simple: learn by building something real, so we can serve our partners and their students better.

The decision follows our time at HubSpot’s UNBOUND 2026 in Boston. The signal there was hard to miss. Across marketing, sales and customer engagement, AI is moving from a topic people discuss to a method people practice. We came home wanting our whole team to practice it, not just read about it.

What this means for your institution

Universities reach prospective international students across time zones, languages and platforms. Those students expect timely, clear answers about enrollment, advising and pathways such as F-1 status and OPT. Well-designed AI tools can help with:

  • Faster responses to routine questions, at any hour and in any time zone
  • More thoughtful personalization in outreach, so each student hears what is relevant to them
  • More advisor time for the conversations that need a human

Used carelessly, the same tools create confusion. We believe the difference comes from teams that understand the technology firsthand, and that is exactly what this competition builds.

How the competition works

Every GoElite employee is invited to design an AI agent around a real problem from their own work. Colleagues in advising, operations, partnerships and marketing know where the repetitive tasks and unanswered questions live. That knowledge is the best starting point for a useful agent.

We are framing this as an invitation, not a test. Some participants will build something polished. Others will mainly discover what is possible and where the limits are. Both outcomes help us. Throughout, three principles stay fixed: accuracy, privacy and a personal touch in everything we do for our partners and their students.

What you can expect from us

As the competition unfolds, we will share practical lessons with you: what worked, what didn’t, and where we decided automation should step aside. Our aim is for your teams to benefit from what we learn without having to run every experiment yourselves.

How is your team approaching AI in recruitment and student support?

Maybe you’re piloting a chatbot for admissions inquiries, testing AI in advising, or still deciding where to start. Either way, we’d love to hear about it. Just reply to this email and tell us what you’re trying, or what’s holding you back.
