Last week, our team traveled to New York for a working visit with Monroe University — one of our longest-standing partner institutions, and a school that has consistently set the standard for what a partner-aligned graduate program can look like.
The visit was not ceremonial. We spent the day with the King Graduate School admissions team and Monroe's executive leadership, going line-by-line through the workflows that matter most to both sides of our partnership: application review timelines, document handoffs, student communication checkpoints, and enrollment reporting.
The goal was straightforward — identify every place where our shared process can move faster, more transparently, and with less friction for the students at the center of it.
For institutional partners, operational alignment is rarely the headline — but it is almost always the difference between a partnership that scales and one that stalls. Faster turnaround, cleaner data, and shared visibility are what allow admissions teams to focus on the work only they can do: evaluating candidates, building cohorts, and protecting program quality.
The conversations with Monroe's leadership reinforced this. They are not looking for volume for its own sake. They are looking for a partnership infrastructure that lets their team operate at the standard they have built their reputation on.
We also used the visit to map out the next phase of the partnership — new program pathways, expanded support for working professionals on OPT, CPT, and H-1B trajectories, and joint planning for the upcoming intake cycles.
For our broader partner network, the takeaway is simple: the institutions that invest in operational discipline alongside academic quality are the ones building durable programs. Monroe University continues to be one of the clearest examples of that, and we are proud to be growing alongside them.
