Work load is ok, in-person attendance are required, need to contact program chair if anything happens and can’t attend the class, which will ask for proof from a doctor if you’re sick. Exam is not too hard, and there will be a review before exam, also exam will be open book. Professor is responsible and helpful if you have struggles in your study.

Very nice and very informative professor. 1-2 homework per week. Very passionate about teaching this subject. Grading is fair/good, but does deduct points on things she does not agree with. Has a least one student presentation requirement in this class. Does a potluck 1 of the 3 onsite classes.

Two assignments per week, one discussion post, one written assignment. The general requirement is 200-250 words per assignment and 2 replies to classmates. Provided many readings but not necessary to see them all to complete the assignment. I learned lots of new information but still quite a cumbersome workload. Grading was fairly good (90-100).
