Great class! The teacher is very organized and still quite flexible. At the same time, the workload is quite reasonable and you always know what you have to do and when. She returns the assignments super quickly and gives many chances for class participation. The structure is a huge plus in this class.

I can only give a 1 because I cannot rate it a 0. This is the most nightmarish course I have ever taken, and I have been a graduate student for years. Not only is there no learning at all, he rants for hours during seminar classes about what he teaches, his methods, the progress of each student, as well as his other classes, even mentioning how many students are passing and why. This is a terrible class and the worst instructor, with no empathy. He is very strict about deadlines, giving a 5-day turnaround for every assignment and a 2-day grace period with a penalty, but he never provides useful feedback. At the same time, he doesn’t update the Canvas template, and the instructions do not match what he expects. He repeats: "Do what I say in class, not what is written in Canvas." AVOID THIS NIGHTMARE!

The professor knows things well and provides good feedback on assignments. Attendance is mandatory, and students are required to send a summary after listening to the recorded lecture for any missed class session. Most of the assignments are helpful and require a reasonable workload. I just wish the Minitab instructions are more up-to-date.

An online each week, unlimited attempts practice quiz before graded quiz each week, and it's easy to get it all correct. Questions in midterm and final are from those quizzes, and it's easy to prepare. There is a presentation on site and the topic for that is selected from the textbook. Overall, it's not time-consuming course, highly recommended.

這堂課每周一個作業給分高，寫得越長他越滿意。教授上課基本唸SLIDES但內容挺豐富的有興趣可以自己看，上課不會問問題，已經上過他兩堂課了，第一次作業都是TA給分，分數都在96-99，第二次線上選修班上只有六個人所以都教授自己批，分數都在92-95，他唯一會認真看的是Project，是目前遇過給最多評論的教授，而且建議都很實用是能真實提升項目的。
