The Emerging Technology class is a well-structured and engaging course that provides a strong overview of current and developing technologies and their impact on business and society. The quality of the class is high, as it combines theoretical concepts with real-world applications, making the content both relevant and practical. It encourages critical thinking, especially when discussing ethical issues, privacy, and innovation. The homework load is manageable, with a mix of readings, discussion posts, and occasional assignments. It requires consistency, but it is not overwhelming if you stay organized and keep up with deadlines. Most assignments are designed to reinforce understanding rather than add unnecessary pressure. The professor’s teaching style is clear and engaging. They explain concepts in a way that is easy to understand and often relate topics to real-life examples, which helps students connect theory to practice. The professor also encourages participation and creates an open space for questions and discussion. Overall, this is a valuable class for anyone interested in understanding how emerging technologies are shaping the future. It strikes a good balance between theory and application, has a manageable workload, and is led by a knowledgeable and supportive professor.

The Developing the Project class taught by Stacy J. Swafford was very valuable for understanding how project management concepts apply in real situations. The cases we analyzed during the course helped bring the theory to life and made it easier to see how these concepts work in practice. What I found most helpful was being able to compare the case studies with situations in the company where I currently work. This allowed me to connect the theoretical frameworks with real organizational challenges and better understand how project planning and development can be applied effectively. Overall, the course provided practical insights that strengthened my ability to think about projects in a structured and strategic way.

I really enjoyed the class because it provided a strong foundation on how to properly start a project. I learned that the way a project is initiated plays a crucial role in ensuring its long-term success. The course on project initiation gave us practical cases and detailed information that helped me better understand the process. For our final assignment, we had to develop a project idea, and I chose one from the company I work for so I could apply what I learned to a real-world situation.
