I had the opportunity to take Strategic Formulation, Implementation and Evaluation (DBA-630-TA1) with Matthew Lonam during the in-person classes at NLU Tampa, and it was an excellent learning experience. Professor Lonam is especially great at engaging with students’ questions and encouraging us to think critically rather than simply providing answers. His teaching style pushes you to look at strategic problems from different perspectives, challenge your assumptions, and develop a deeper understanding of the concepts. What I appreciated most was how he created an environment where questions were welcomed and thoughtful discussion was encouraged. The course went beyond learning frameworks - it helped me understand how to apply strategic thinking in real organizational situations. I highly recommend Professor Lonam to anyone looking to strengthen their strategic thinking and analytical skills. His ability to challenge students while making the learning experience engaging truly stands out.

Dr. Jennifer Egrie is an exceptional professor who made Corporate and Global Finance both engaging and practical. Her ability to explain complex financial concepts in a clear, structured, and relatable manner made the course enjoyable, even for students from diverse professional backgrounds. She consistently encouraged critical thinking by connecting financial theories to real-world business scenarios, allowing us to understand not just the concepts but also their application in strategic decision-making. Her lectures were well organized, expectations were clear, and the assignments challenged us to think analytically while reinforcing the course material. One of Dr. Egrie's greatest strengths is her genuine commitment to student success. She was approachable, responsive to questions, and provided thoughtful, constructive feedback that helped deepen my understanding of corporate finance. She created a supportive learning environment where every student felt encouraged to participate and contribute. I truly appreciated her professionalism, expertise, and dedication throughout the course. I highly recommend Dr. Jennifer Egrie to anyone seeking a rigorous, insightful, and rewarding learning experience in Corporate and Global Finance.

The class is well designed in its structure and content. The homework load is relative reasonable. Onsite class was intriguing and interesting. If more instruction on assignment and the expected deliverable will be helpful.

The course structure is nice. However, the instructor is very strict about using AI. Make sure you don’t use it otherwise he even fails students…
