This article explains how to fill out Form I-907 for premium processing.
What is Form I-907?
Form I-907, “Request for Premium Processing Service,” can be submitted together with your primary application or at a later time. If you urgently need your EAD card, you can submit Form I-907 along with Form I-765. However, if you were not initially in a hurry but later become concerned about losing a job opportunity due to delays in obtaining work authorization, you can submit Form I-907 afterward.
After you submit Form I-907, USCIS will provide a decision within 15 days of receiving the request. The outcome may be an approval, a Request for Evidence (RFE), or a denial.
Is There a Fee for Premium Processing?
Yes. Starting in February 2024, USCIS raised the fee for I-907 premium processing to $1,685. This can be a significant expense for international students, so it is important to carefully consider your employment situation and financial circumstances before deciding whether to request premium processing.
