Over a thousand graduates engaged with our team seeking clarity on employment opportunities, visa status, and post-OPT planning, leaving better equipped with informed guidance.
Each October, this influx of inquiries arrives prominently. During the OCIC event, more than a thousand graduates on Optional Practical Training participated, bringing critical questions regarding employment prospects, visa pathways, and future planning beyond OPT. These attendees sought detailed, personalized guidance rather than generic information, turning to knowledgeable professionals to help analyze their next steps.
The event, titled "OPT to Green Card: Real Paths From Real Speakers," was thoughtfully designed to address this need. The program featured Chintan Shah, Founder of The Super Coach; Rakshit Goyal, Founder of That Indian Coach; Sameer Ranjan, CTO and Director of Data Science at Catenate; and Veeraj Gadda, AI and Career Creator and Solutions Engineering Manager. Each speaker shared insights grounded in authentic career experiences, offering perspectives that resonate deeply with graduates navigating similar uncertainties.
Such programming is successful because of the dedicated individuals behind the scenes. We want to expressly acknowledge our team's role: moderating sessions with professionalism, maintaining smooth operation, and managing the chat forum where many personal and nuanced questions arose. Your expertise directed attendees toward clearer options and understanding, enriching the overall experience beyond what a program schedule alone can convey.
For our partner institutions, this reflects a significant opportunity. Graduates on OPT are making some of their earliest and most impactful career decisions, and their inquiries extend well beyond graduation day—covering employment, immigration status, and long-term pathways. When alumni know there is trusted guidance available, it demonstrates the institution's ongoing commitment to student success beyond degree conferral.
This event also illustrates that effective career and visa guidance need not be complex. A graduate arriving uncertain and departing with renewed clarity gains a meaningful advantage, even as their broader journey continues. We anticipate that the sense of direction provided during this event will positively influence many participants long term.
Looking forward, we remain committed to developing targeted programs that meet students and graduates at their point of need. We welcome discussions with partners about expanding such support within their communities.
To our team, thank you for your thoughtful dedication.
To our partners, we appreciate your trust in GoElite as a dependable resource in supporting your students’ critical next steps.
