GoElite is proud to present the F-1 to Green Card Virtual Conference 2025 (F2GC)—a nationwide, free virtual conference held on December 6, 2025, designed to support international students and professionals navigating one of the most complex transitions in their U.S. journey: moving from F-1 status to long-term career success and permanent residency.
Hosted as a full-day online event, F2GC 2025 brought together thousands of international students, OPT and STEM OPT professionals, and international students from across the U.S. The conference served as a high-impact educational and engagement platform, offering timely insights into employment-based visas, self-petition green card pathways, and practical immigration planning in a rapidly tightening policy environment.
Inside F2GC 2025: Expert-Led Immigration Strategy and Career Insights
F2GC 2025 featured nationally recognized immigration attorneys, career experts, accomplished immigrant founders and tech leaders, each bringing a distinct perspective on navigating today’s immigration and employment landscape.
Sessions covered critical topics from maintaining OPT and STEM OPT compliance to navigating CPT risks and best practices. Speakers also provided a high-level overview of self-petition pathways such as O-1, EB-1, and EB-2 NIW, along with insights into employer sponsorship decisions and the realities of international travel and visa stamping in 2025.
By combining legal expertise with real-world case studies, speakers provided attendees with "actionable frameworks—not generic advice—to evaluate their options and plan their next steps with confidence."
“With increasing visa scrutiny, longer green card backlogs, and rising uncertainty for international professionals, we created F2GC to help people take control of their immigration journey—earlier and more strategically,” said Ryan Zhang, Project Manager of F2GC. “This conference is about turning confusion into clarity and helping attendees move from reactive decisions to proactive planning.”
Unlike traditional webinars focused on a single visa category, F2GC was designed as an end-to-end roadmap—helping attendees connect the dots between short-term work authorization and long-term residency goals.
Through keynote sessions, deep-dive workshops, and interactive Q&A, attendees gained clarity on when hybrid CPT can serve as a strategic bridge, how to position themselves for O-1, EB-1, and NIW pathways, and why early, intentional planning during OPT can meaningfully shape long-term green card outcomes.
This holistic approach empowered attendees to make informed decisions based on their background, career trajectory, and risk tolerance.
F2GC 2025 also featured highlighted exhibits from GoElite's partner universities offering hybrid professional programs, giving attendees direct access to detail school and program information as well as live guidance from GoElite's advisors.
Through live interactions, students were able to engaged directly to ask detailed questions about CPT structure, compliance, and academic expectations for working professionals. They also was assisted to evaluate which hybrid CPT options best aligned with their career and immigration goals.
For institutions, the conference provided a high-intent, well-educated audience already engaged in serious immigration and career planning—making F2GC a meaningful channel for student outreach and education.
