S5 Q&A: My job doesn't give me enough hours - is that a problem for CPT?

CPT has no federal minimum, but your school may set hour requirements, and your CPT is authorized as part-time (20 hours a week or less) or full-time. If you want more hours, it usually means a new or changed authorization - ask before your hours change. If you're thinking of switching employers, the new job needs its own CPT before you start.
