S3 Q&A: Will declining one offer affect my record or my status?

No - declining an admission offer has no effect on your immigration status, and schools expect it. What matters is that your SEVIS record goes only to the school you actually attend. Just make sure you don't pay a deposit or start a transfer with the school you're declining.
