S3 Q&A: My degree isn't conferred yet (or my diploma hasn't been issued) - can I still be admitted?
Often yes - many schools review your file with your current transcript and a letter from your university confirming your expected completion date, then ask for the final transcript or diploma before your I-20 or by a set date. Ask your registrar for both today, send them to admissions, and ask admissions in writing what they will accept and by when. If the final documents can't arrive before your program starts, tell us so we can plan a later intake with you.
