S3 Q&A: I was admitted to one program but switched to another in the same application (for example MBA to DBA) - what happens now?

The school treats it as a new decision for the new program, so finish anything that program requires - an essay, for example - as soon as you can; the review clock restarts once it's in. The change can also alter your I-20 program, length and cost, and the degree level matters if you already hold a US master's. Tell us the new program so we track the right decision and check the fit with your work and status dates.
