S2 Q&A: Once I'm admitted, can I start classes or work before the status change is approved?

Work: no - no employment until F-1 is approved and CPT is authorized, and no CPT at all while the change of status is pending. Classes: it depends on your current status and the school's DSO - B-1/B-2 holders can't begin until approval, other cases are decided case by case - so that call belongs to the senior consultant with the DSO, not to me. I've noted it for the team.
