S2 Q&A: As a COS applicant, which status documents does the school need?

Proof that you hold and are maintaining your current status: latest I-94, the I-797 approval notice for your current status (or the visa page), and often recent pay stubs or an employer letter if you're on a work visa. The school issues an I-20 marked for Change of Status, so it needs to see you're in valid status today. Which status are you on, and what's its end date?
