I am Initial / COS - which schools give CPT from the first semester?

Policies split here: some partners let new F-1 and change-of-status students use CPT from the first term, others don't, and a few add conditions (for example a letter of intent to the DSO or a background review). If starting work fast matters, I'll shortlist only the schools that allow first-term CPT for your status and flag any conditions. What's your current status?
